What you'll Need:

1 Bag of pre-frozen chicken breast
1 Package of McCormick Grill Master's Zesty Herb Marinade
1/4 cup of butter
1 package of frozen corn
Garlic, powered, salt, pepper, to taste
Time: 35 Minutes
In my Nurture VoxBox from Influenster I received a coupon for a FREE Uncle Ben's product of my choice. Uncle Ben's has a variety of different rices in different flavors, I founded this to be exciting. I choose Uncle Ben's Roasted Chicken flavored rice. I bought an additional package to go along with the free package, I wasn't sure how much would be enough for my family.
When I decided to use my two packages of Uncle Ben's rice, I paired it with chicken and corn, to complement the flavor I choose. I used pre-frozen chicken breast from Kroger. I pressure cooked the chicken with McCormick Grill Master's Zesty Herb Marinade for 30 mins.
After the chicken was done in the pressure cooker, I pulled the chicken out and fried it in a large skillet with some butter. This way the flavors from the McCormick seasoning packet would penetrate the chicken better. During this time I decided to prepare Uncle Ben's rice and the corn. I cooked the rice according to the packages directions. In which I found very convent and easy to follow. For one package it took 90 seconds in the microwave. The product was to be heated within the package in which it came. I found this to be a little concerning, considering all the health issues about plastics and other materials being heated up in the microwave leading to cancers and other health issues.
After preparing the two packages in the microwave, I mixed the two packages within a container. I was hoping that two packages would have been enough as a side dish for my family's meal, but it was a little less then I was hoping for. The rice went well with the corn and the chicken, although I felt as if the flavorer of the rice could have been enhanced more. I enjoyed the texture and thought that the rice was cooked perfectly. Thanks to Influenster I got to try and test this product for my family and I. I hope that I helped you and other families decided if this product and other products mentioned in this blog is right for your family. Thank you for reading and I look forward to your comments and feedback.
