Having a baby or a baby in your
care is an extreme responsibility. It is a necessity to have an essential
grooming kit and health kit on hand. You never know when you just might need
these tools. With my first two children grooming kits and baby health kits came
in hand when it was time to get baby ready for an outing, or to give baby
medicine. If I were to purchase a baby gift for someone, I would definitely
consider a grooming kit or a baby health kit before anything else.

Included in the Aquila Grooming
Kit:
Baby's grooming tools: Soft brush, comb, nail clippers, nail file, scissors, and tweezers.
Baby health tools: digital thermometer, medicine dropper, and nasal aspirator.
- · The soft brush is perfect for baby’s fine hair, great for baths, and styling.
- · The comb is one of my personal favorites. The comb has little balls at the end of every other tooth bristle. These little balls ensure the bristles do not hurt baby’s tender scalp, also helps separate baby’s hair.
- · The medicine drop is easy to use and easy to drop medicine into baby’s mouth. Although, I prefer the syringe style medicine dispenser, the dropper works nicely as well, and is easy to clean.
- · The digital thermometer is always nice to have. This digital thermometer measures temperatures in Celsius rather then Fahrenheit, which I thought was weird and not very helpful. Most thermometers and hospitals measure temperatures in Fahrenheit. The Celsius thermometers can make thing difficult when communicating with a health care professional about your baby’s temperatures. I suggest investing in a Fahrenheit digital thermometer. You can find one at your nearest Dollar Tree, Wal-Mart, or Drug store for fairly cheap.
- · The tweezers are a great tool to have on hand for baby; I have never seen one included in a baby’s grooming kit or health kit before. These tweezers come with a little ball on the tips to ensure baby’s safety, and a cover to keep tweezers clean.
- · The scissors also have the little ball at the tip to ensure safety; safety scissors are also great to have on hand.
- · The nasal aspirator also comes with a cover, to help keep clean. The tip is nice and soft so it won’t hurt baby’s nose, and it is easy to clean and to take apart.
- · The nail clippers and nail file are also great tools to have on hand to care for baby’s nails. You never want baby’s nails to be to long or too sharp.
I really like the safety features
that are included on many of the Aquila Goods Grooming Kit tools. You can never
be too safe when caring for a baby. I also like that the tools come in a
decorative case that can be used to store the grooming and health tools. I
would recommend almost all the tools that come included in this grooming kit,
besides the digital thermometer. I would recommend a Fahrenheit digital
thermometer.
I hope this review on this product
helps you decided if this grooming kit is a good fit for you and your baby. If
you have any questions feel free to ask.
