Showerhead Upgrade

Updating your home with little home improvement projects can sure make your home more pleasant to live in and make it feel more like a home. I didn’t think something as simple as a showerhead would make a significant difference to our master bathroom. Since we have changed out our showerheads, our bathroom has felt more enjoyable. Our showerheads before didn’t have that much pressure, and were a little boring.

Our master bathroom has two showerheads and is rather large. When we first moved in the showerheads were plastic, and had no pressure at all. I thought that maybe it was our water pressure in general until I figured out it was our showerheads. Overtime the shower heads turned colors because they were plastic and the hard water had affected them.

My husband and I had talked about remodeling our bathroom, but didn’t have the funds to upgrade our master bathroom yet. So I thought we would start with something small, that would make a difference and motivate us to upgrade the rest of our bathroom. So I got two different types of showerheads; one with pressure, and different settings, and another that was more of a waterfall or rain type.

I used this Shower Head Chrome Finish High Pressure Multi Function Rainfall 5 Funtions Massage as my main showerhead. This one has a lot of pressure, and can be changed to five different settings. Having this run on your back after a long day is well worth it. I also love that it doesn’t take much to rinse my hair out, and I can take a quick shower faster since the pressure helps rinse the soap away faster.

This Shower Head Chrome Finish 6 Inches Hight Pressure Luxury Rainfall I used as my second showerhead. This one is gentle, great for relaxing. We have a little shower seat that is built into our shower; this showerhead sits right above it. This showerhead works great for just sitting and relaxing while the gentle rain/shower falls upon you.

Ever since we changed our showerheads, our bathroom has felt more luxury almost like we are taking a shower in a fancy hotel while we are on vacation, when really we are just at home, and outside these shower walls are three kids, two dogs, and the world that needs tending too. But, it is all worth it for just those few moments of oasis and relaxation.
